Hello, Pommier
Soft launch release.
Your everyday life is already on your Mac. Pommier gives your AI a way to work with it.
This is Pommier’s first public release: a native menu bar app that connects six Apple apps to AI clients through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Find the email with the details, make room on your calendar, or pick up an idea from your notes—all from a conversation.
We’re starting with a soft launch. Try it with your own workflows and tell us what feels useful, what’s confusing, and what needs a little more care.
Six familiar apps. A new way to use them.
Search your inbox, read conversations, and prepare drafts. Replies and forwards can be sent when you enable email sending.

A companion that lives on your Mac.
- Native from the menu bar down
- Pommier and its Apple-app tools run natively in Swift. It uses the accounts already set up in your Apple apps, without asking for your Apple Account password.
- A guided permissions checklist
- See which macOS grants each app needs, check their status, and revisit them later. Email sending starts off, with a separate choice for remote clients.
- A history you can review
- See tool calls, their results, and where they came from in Request History. Review and export receipts on your Mac.
- Local connections, optional remote access
- Connect a compatible MCP client on your Mac. For supported cloud clients, Pommier also offers a separate remote setup using Tailscale and OAuth.
- Downloads and updates tied to your access
- Your private email link opens the download page. Connect your purchase in Update Settings to receive in-app updates. Lost or expired link? Request a fresh one with the same email address.
Before you get started.
You’ll need an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 13 or later, a compatible MCP client, and the permissions for the apps you choose to connect. Your Mac must be awake with Pommier running; remote connections also need it to be online.
Client support depends on the app, your plan, and any workspace policies. Information requested by an AI client goes to that client, including its cloud provider where applicable. Some tools can change or delete content, so review your permissions and your client’s approval settings.
